Xiamen Hezuo Foods GM Chen Zaihe meets visitors from XSMEO and Bright Compass

Xiamen (13th July, 2010) – Xiamen Hezuo GM Mr. Chen Zaihe and Ms. Wang Biqiong met Mr. Ni Wei, Ms. Cai Xiuling and Mr. Li Guorong, managerial staff from Xiamen Small and Medium Enterprises Online, and COO Mr. Zhang Haowu from Bright Compass and his entourage Mr. Chen Laixing and Mr. Yan Hui.
The meeting was set to exchange views on enterprise management, development of Zuozuo food, company objectives and competitiveness among jelly manufacturers in China.
During the meeting, Mr. Chen first introduced Hezuo Foods, its products and its global buyers. Founded in 2008, Hezuo Foods develops steadily with normative management. The company has a wide range of products including jelly foods, gummy candies, mini cakes, fruit jelly salads and Sachima.
At present, Hezuo mainly exports its products to some European and American countries, Japan, South Korea and Australia. EU countries have special requirements on the formulation of jelly products. Except for unchanged harness and stiffness of jelly, EU buyers don’t allow konjac gum to be used in jelly products. To meet the requirements, Hezuo's R&D Department made numerous experiments and finally got access to the EU market.
Later, Mr. Chen made a market analysis. He also expressed intension to cooperate with Unilever Thailand, who shines at gummy candies throughout the world. In the sachima market, Mr. Chen said that Hezuo would focus on low-sugar and salty sachima that is made from buckwheat. In the cake market, Hezuo is planning to launch Japanese style cakes this August.
At last, Mr. Chen answered questions forwarded by guests from Xiamen Small and Medium Enterprise Online (hereafter referred to as XSMEO).
XSMEO: What measures have you taken to develop your company in the current jelly industry situation?
Chen: We will stick to quality principle to gain foothold in the market. Also, we are improving our brand awareness through our jelly products, the core products of Hezuo Foods.
XSMEO: What is the fundamental reason to make such achievements?
Chen: We are the leading jelly producer in China and have a higher standard in producing jelly products.
XSMEO: What's the company objective?
Chen: We focus on natural and nutritious food and mainly sell our products in China. We will expand our market share both domestically and internationally. Our ultimate objective is to go listed abroad in 3 – 5 years.
XSMEO: What do you think of your products promotion?
Chen: The brand is the life of our company. Once our brand is established, our company will benefit a lot from it.
